My research interests

The focus of my research is on the investigation of complex coastal surface currents and how pollutants are transported at the ocean’s surface. Using Lagrangian and Eulerian current measurements, I analyse the dispersion of pollutants and their impact on marine ecosystems.

How is my work linked to the Beagle Channel area?

The core of my research activities are measurements with satellite tracked surface drifters to understand the complex transport and time scales of circulation in the Beagle Channel and of the Cape Horn Current.
